This is a new position within a £100m t/o business that supplies services to a variety of industrial sectors including materials handling, waste recycling and mineral extraction.

Operating within a sector where compliance and health & safety are key business drivers, instilling the need for creativity and introduction of new concepts in the minds of colleagues will be among the key challenges faced by the appointee at this challenging yet potentially rewarding time for this business.  

The Role:

• Devise and implement a marketing strategy that facilitates the delivery of revenue and profit objectives, develops loyalty from existing customers, attracts new customers and builds brand equity.
• Undertake a root and branch review of all current marketing activity and ensure best practice procedures are implemented.  
• Develop and lead the marketing team in a manner that ensures the strategy is communicated passionately to the organisation.  

The Candidate:

• Educated to degree level, you must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering consistent ROI through effective application of your marketing and general business acumen.  
• Ideally experience will be from within the construction, outsourced services or transport sectors. Consideration will be given to those from outside of these industry sectors who it is felt can bring a fresh approach within an industry, and certainly this company, that is not renowned for its marketing per se. 
• First class communication skills and a data-driven mindset are a must alongside a resilient attitude and robustness of character.
