Our client has an established reputation for delivering cost effective solutions to its customers through a network of locations throughout the UK.

 

The creation of a feeling of involvement and belonging amongst the workforce is one of the key drivers in recruiting for this role which sees the function being represented at board level for the first time.

 

The Role:

 

  • Develop, drive, and support the overall HR agenda in a manner that adds real value to the business as a whole.
  • Manage resources such that day–to-day HR issues are processed professionally.
  • Design and implement integrated organisational, management development, employee communications and training strategies that are aligned to corporate objectives.
  • Promote a performance and team culture in a sales and service-driven business.

The Candidate:

 

  • Graduate, CIPD qualified with minimum 5 years generalist experience.
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering good practice HR in a demanding commercial environment.  
  • Can quickly establish credibility with staff at all levels through effective implementation of initiatives that are seen as adding value i.e. systems, processes, employee communication and staff/management development programmes.
  • Resilient resourceful, challenging and persistent are necessary character attributes alongside the ability to manage the needs of the business in tandem with being sensitive to the needs of staff.
