Forming part of a significant group, our client is an international, multi-site manufacturing organisation with a reputation for product quality and delivery.  There is now a requirement to recruit a pragmatic and highly capable Operations Director to cover the EMEA region.

The Role:

Reporting to the European MD, key responsibilities will include:

• Devising and implementing an operations strategy to drive through operational efficiencies and deliver bottom line improvement

• Developing the supply chain strategy whilst ensuring quality standards are adhered to

• Driving the implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

• Leading and developing multi-site operations teams ensuring their full commercial contribution to the business

The Candidate:

• A graduate operations professional, with a proven track record of delivering operational change and improvement, gained within multi-site European / International manufacturing businesses.

• Culturally aware with experience of not only working but also living internationally.      

• Commercially and financially astute with a good understanding of supply chain management and technically proficient in areas of lean manufacturing.

• Interpersonally strong with first class presentation skills, a tenacious approach with a can-do attitude and the ability to influence across the organisation.
