HR Director
Our client is part of an international group. The business is acknowledged as a leader in its field offering an end to end solution to customer: manufacture/install/service.
In a group which recognizes people are its greatest asset the role of HR Director is seen as a key member of the leadership team. The appointee will be expected to contribute to achieving commercial performance objectives through development and roll out of an affective people strategy.
The Role:
- By promoting a culture of continuous improvement, shape the organisation structure so that it meets the needs of the business.
- Critically appraise existing methodologies for talent acquisition, reward and retention, employee relations and make recommendations for change where appropriate.
- Support fellow SMT members by providing guidance on all matters relating to employment best practice (law, ethics etc.)
- Lead and motivated the HR team.
The Candidate:
- Graduate calibre, CIPD qualified with a proven track record in the effective leadership of the HR function within a multi-site environment with, ideally, this encompassing manufacturing.
- Through on-the-job experience, has developed a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation, ER issues, working with trade unions and change management.
- First class communication skills, both written and oral.
- Capable of inspiring an HR Team through thought leadership and CPD.
